ABOUT LSBU RACING
We are club dedicated to giving students the opportunity in one of the most daring and adrenaline fuelled sports you will ever compete in.
Racing activities vary from competing in our LSBU club championship races at indoor kart tracks, to competing against other university students in the British University Karting Championship at some of the best circuits in the UK.
We welcome all levels of drivers from complete beginners to experienced drivers. If you want to have a go at what it is like to be a race driver, don't hesitate to get in contact and find out how you can get involved.
Last season we took part in BUKC (British University Karting Championship), which our team enjoyed taking part in. We hope we continue this for the 2021 season with the addition of new members to the club.

Coming into 2021, we are developing a strategy to rebrand the LSBU Kart Club in an effort to grow and expand the sports club.
Creating a competitive and all inclusive environment for all where we race as one, is what we believe in.
I look forward to welcoming new and old members to a post-Covid club ready to race!

Given how COVID halted the 2020 season, I'm still relatively new to the LSBU racing team, however racing has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember and I'm very excited to continue that here!
In this new role, I'll be hoping to make a positive impact both on and off the track, helping to manage the team and giving everyone an opportunity to let their voice be heard on what they'd like to see from us.
Roll on the 2021 season, let’s make the LSBU racing team more fun and more competitive than it ever has been!

Financial Controller
In my role I will take care of all the financial aspects of the racing club. I will also be the one to bring in data for the club to see where we stand with previous years.
Being a part of LSBU Racing is a new experience for me. Knowing that this is a place for beginners to learn and race is great and I can’t wait to see us all racing together.
MARY SHOLARIN

As a new member to the LSBU Racing team, I am honored to be in a position where I can utilize my passion for people to engage them in the world of Karting.
I am fairly new to the Motorsports scene as I haven’t really had the opportunity to explore it but given this new position, I am excited to start a new journey with the team in 2021 post pandemic.
I vow to this club that I will get to know all members as well as potential members and let them know that they are valued at the club.
I believe that everyone who is a part of this has a say and no voice should go unheard. There is no “I” in team but there is a “U” in us and together we can be part of something greater this year
